First Full Day at Boston

Boston means business!  First, Kristy informs me today that the plan is to perform the catheter ablation procedure on Wednesday. I was expecting that to occur sometime next week so I was pretty surprised that they moved so quickly. Next, I hear that they're possibly doing the open heart surgery on Thursday.  Wow! I had to take a step back on that. At this pace maybe Gage will be home sooner then we thought.

Gavin and I are scheduled to fly to Boston on Wednesday to ensure that we can be there for the surgery if it does take place on Thursday. I keep asking Kristy if Gage is sharing his smile with everyone but she tells me he hasn't been himself since they gave him a pretty good dose of drugs. I hate these times where we don't get to see a smile from him. His smiles have a way of letting you know that everything is going to be okay.

No smiles from Mr. Gage is a very sobering thing.
